How do you fix one shot without starting over?
Fourteen tools document a way, of three kinds: changing the shot in place, as at Luma, Runway, Google Flow, Adobe Firefly, Pictory, Descript, Vyond, Storyboarder.ai and SceneMixer; asking an assistant, at invideo and Morphic; or reopening earlier work, at Synthesia, Kapwing and D-ID. From 14 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Inclusion rule. A tool is listed when its own help page covers what the question asks. Order. Tools in alphabetical order.
Three approaches show up. Some tools change the one shot in place, some take the change as a request to an assistant, and others keep earlier versions so a change can be undone.
It is the least documented step on the map, which makes these pages worth reading before a project, not after the first bad shot.
Three of them, Synthesia, Kapwing and D-ID, approach it by going back to earlier work rather than regenerating: version histories at the first two, an Edit as New copy at D-ID.
