How do AI video tools share a finished video by link?
Eight help pages cover a link. SceneMixer's link to a finished episode opens without an account; Descript's opens the video on a page of its own; Colossyan and VEED add embeds or posting; Fliki sends a preview link; Vyond shares with named people too; Runway's link can be made private again. From 8 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
| Tool | Page | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Colossyan | Share, embed or download your video | Sharing a video by link, on social platforms or as an embed |
| Descript | Export and publish content with Descript web links | A web link that opens the finished video on a page of its own |
| Fliki | Guide: Preview Window | A preview link for friends or team members |
| Google Flow | Manage your Google Flow projects, assets & collections | A copy link that lets anyone find and use a video, inside the same page |
| Runway | How to share an asset | Getting a share link for an asset, and making it private again |
| SceneMixer | Compositing and Sharing an Episode | A link to the finished episode that opens without an account |
| VEED | How to share your videos | Hosting a video and sending a shareable link, or uploading it to other platforms |
| Vyond | How do I share a video? | Sharing a video by link or with named people, singly or in bulk |
Inclusion rule. A tool is listed when its own help page covers what the question asks. Order. Tools in alphabetical order.
A link is how a cut reaches a client, a cast or a group chat without a file changing hands. What the pages differ on is who can open it and for how long.
Two settings matter most. Whether the viewer needs an account, which decides whether the link works in a message to someone outside the tool; and whether the link can be withdrawn, which Runway's page addresses directly. Google Flow's copy link goes further than viewing: it lets anyone with it find and use the video.
Review links for collaborators, with comments and edit rights, are a separate question here.
