Where AI video tools document each step

Making a scripted short with AI runs through the same seven steps in every tool, from the script to the share link. This site maps where 26 tools explain each step in their own help pages, with the page title, a quote and the date it was read. As of 2026-09-25.

1The manuals, tab by tab

One card per tool, in alphabetical order. The seven tabs down the side follow the steps above: a solid tab is a page given over to the step, a pale one a step covered inside a wider page, an empty one a step with no page found. Open a card for the page titles and quotes.

Inclusion rule. All 26 tools on the map; a step counts when the tool's own docs have a page on it. Order. Making order.

3Why a map of help pages

Help centres are organised around a product's menus, not around the job. A page on keeping a character the same may be filed under avatars, elements, references or looks, depending on the tool.

The map files every page under the step it serves, so the same question can be followed across tools.

Every entry links straight to the tool's own page. The map adds no instructions of its own; it shows where the tool's explanation is and what it covers.

4Complete manuals

Descript, Google Flow, Kapwing, Morphic, Runway, SceneMixer, Synthesia and Vyond have a page on all seven steps. The rest leave between one and five steps without one.
