Where each AI video tool documents each step

Undocumented steps: where the manuals go quiet

Every step some tool leaves without a page in its documentation, tool by tool. Changing one shot is the step most often missing, at 12 of the 26 tools; Descript, Google Flow, Kapwing, Morphic, Runway, SceneMixer, Synthesia and Vyond have a page on all seven. As of 2026-09-25.

A gap is a search resultA step with no page found is listed as a gap; it says nothing about whether the tool can do it.Did the tool's docs have a page on this step?Yes, on its own siteOn the mapTitle, quote, date.No page foundListed as a gapNot a claim about the product. One check per tool per step

1What a gap means

A gap is a search result, not a verdict on the product. The sitemap or index of each help centre was read for a page on the step; when none was there, the step is listed here.

Gaps cluster in two places. Storyboard apps stop before the video is made, so voices and sharing are often missing; general video makers start at the prompt, so scenes and fixing one shot are.

Where a tool explains a step only in a video, a product page or a community forum, the gap stays: the map follows written help pages on the tool's own site.
