How do you choose a voice in an AI video tool?
Eight help pages cover it, in three ways: pick from a library, as on D-ID, HeyGen and Synthesia; set voice, tone and accent, as on Adobe Firefly and Colossyan; or steer delivery with tags, as on VEED. Fliki adds cloned voices; SceneMixer describes each voice in words or matches a preset. From 8 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Inclusion rule. A tool is listed when its own help page covers what the question asks. Order. Tools in alphabetical order.
A voice is the part of a character that changes least from scene to scene, so it is worth choosing once and deliberately rather than shot by shot.
The pages split on what is chosen. A library entry is a fixed voice; a description or a set of tags is an instruction the model interprets each time. SceneMixer's page uses both: a written description by default, or a preset from its library that can be played before it is matched.
Cloned and personal voices, on Fliki and Synthesia, bring consent into the choice, because the voice belongs to someone.
