Making steps: seven steps, every tool
Open a step to see which tools explain it, on which page, and how directly. Single-tool pages below a step look at one tool's page on it more closely. As of 2026-09-25.
The steps run in making order, from the words a video starts from to the link it is shared by.
Tools name the same step differently: a scene breakdown, a storyboard, a shot list, or scenes.
A step page lists every tool, with the ones that have no page on it marked as gaps.
Single-tool pages exist where a tool has a page given over to the step, not a passing mention.
The step with the fewest pages is changing one shot; the one with the most is starting from a script.

3A generator's own guide on this
Set beside “Steps”, two passages from the guides SceneMixer publishes about its own pipeline:
Every character, scene and prop card can carry a short list of the other names your script uses for the same thing.

An AI short drama is a serialized show of 60–120 second vertical episodes whose cast, sets and footage are generated by AI. Making one takes six steps: analyze the script into episodes, lock a consistent cast with reference art, localize for your market, write and edit storyboards, generate each 4–15 second shot, then composite and publish.
