Where each AI video tool documents each step

Model makers document the generation, not the drama

Tools built around their own model explain generation in depth and the rest of the job barely. Midjourney's video page turns one image into a short clip, and its docs have nothing on scenes, voices or exporting video. From 4 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Kling AI's guides describe multi-shot narratives and sound made with the picture, but have no page on fixing a shot, exporting or sharing.

The gap is not in the model. It is that assembling a drama, joining clips, fixing one, handing it on, is left to the user or to another tool.

Check the later steps before choosing a model maker for a series; they decide how much work falls outside it.

2From a production guide

Set beside “Model makers document the generation, not the drama”, two passages from the guides SceneMixer publishes about its own pipeline:

SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.

Character sheets are always portrait and scene images always widescreen, whatever ratio the videos use.
