Web link: a finished video on a page of its own
A web link publishes a finished video to a page hosted by the tool, so it can be watched in a browser without the file being sent. From 4 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
Descript's web links open a standalone page for the video. Google Flow's share option gives a link that lets anyone find and use the creation. Colossyan shares by link, on social platforms or as an embed. Vyond shares from the studio's top bar.
A web link differs from a review link in what it is for: it shows the finished cut rather than collecting notes on a draft.
The pages differ on what the link carries. Google Flow's can include the inputs used to make the clip; others show the video only.
Before sending one, check whether the link can be withdrawn; Google Flow's page says stopping it means deleting the original.

2From a production guide
Set beside “Web link”, two passages from the guides SceneMixer publishes about its own pipeline:
The same way as a photographic one: the character is generated once as a reference sheet and that image is sent with every shot they are in, along with a couple of face-distinguishing notes. Shots refer to the character rather than re-describing their look.

It rewrites one episode's storyboard from its outline, discarding that episode's segments and videos.
